CATALYSIS

I have an entwined history in storytelling, science, and project management. As both a multimedia journalist and filmmaker, I have covered a number of stories on history, community, and science. I have extensive experience in producing feature-length documentaries, which have appeared in the Colorado Environmental Film Festival and won Heartland Emmy Awards.

 

I hold a BA and an MA in biology and have conducted research on northern fur seals, electric eels, and eastern gray squirrels, coral reefs, and marine microbes. Most recently in my graduate work, I explored what true participation through digital media means and looks like in conservation.

 

I hope to continue exploring the intersection between media and conservation work, creating thought-provoking films, and implementing efficient and effective project management systems.
